The heart of the system is the Intel Core 7 150U. Based on the Raptor Lake architecture (Series 1), this processor features up to 10 cores (2P+8E) and a max frequency of 5.4GHz. The integrated Intel Graphics delivers sufficient performance for daily tasks and light editing. Power consumption is designed for efficiency with a base TDP of 15W (max boost around 55W). The fan noise is barely noticeable, making it quiet and perfect for home offices.
Memory and Storage
It comes with 16GB (DDR4-3200) memory, and 2 slots allow for user replacement and expansion. Storage is a 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. A microSD card slot is also present, convenient for data transfer or temporary storage.
Note: Since there is no 2.5-inch bay, storage expansion relies on swapping the M.2 SSD, using external drives, or leveraging cloud storage.
GenAI Performance
The Core 7 150U does not have a dedicated NPU. While Chrome OS ensures snappy operation, dedicated AI tasks rely on the CPU/GPU. Rather than heavy processes like image generation, using cloud-based AI services is the more "Chromebox-like" approach.
